Sinchan Systems provides custom professional services including UX architecture, website strategy, design, development, WordPress/WooCommerce implementation, and related website systems work.
Because these services involve time, expertise, and work performed specifically for each client, refunds are handled according to the status of the project and work completed.
Work begins only after the applicable advance payment or project milestone has been funded or paid.
Once work associated with a payment has begun, the portion of that payment corresponding to work already performed is non-refundable.
Payments for completed work or completed project milestones are non-refundable.
This includes time and work spent on activities such as:
Strategy and planning
UX architecture and website structure
Research
Design
Development
WordPress or WooCommerce configuration
Integrations and system setup
Testing and troubleshooting
Meetings and project-related consultation
If a client cancels a project after making a payment but before work has begun, a refund may be provided for the amount paid, less any non-refundable expenses or third-party costs already incurred for the project.
If a client cancels a project after work has started, work already performed remains payable and is non-refundable.
If the client has prepaid for work that has not yet been performed, any unused portion may be eligible for a refund after accounting for completed work and applicable expenses.
Third-party expenses incurred for a project are generally non-refundable once purchased or committed.
These may include:
Premium plugins or software
Licenses
Hosting
Domain-related expenses
External services
Assets purchased specifically for the project
Other third-party project costs
Where a refund is approved, payment-processing, transfer, currency-conversion, or other third-party transaction fees already incurred may be deducted from the refundable amount where applicable.
Project milestones that have not yet been funded or paid do not create a refund obligation.
If a project ends before a future milestone begins, the client is not charged for that milestone unless otherwise agreed.
If Sinchan Systems is unable to complete agreed work that has already been paid for, the portion of the payment attributable to work that has not been performed may be refunded.
Any work already completed remains payable.
Individual projects may have their own proposal, contract, scope of work, milestone structure, or payment terms.
Where a project agreement contains specific cancellation or refund terms, those terms take precedence over this general Refund Policy.
